Glide down the Douro River from Tua to Pinhão over a 12 km stretch, enjoying the tranquil waters, stunning vineyard landscapes, and the peaceful silence of the river.
Stop at small, secluded beaches to sunbathe or take a refreshing swim.
You will be transported by rabelo boat from Pinhão to the Foz Tua pier in a one-hour upstream ride, after which you will kayak downstream yourself. During the upstream trip, you’ll have the chance to get to know the river, plan stops, and identify good swimming spots.
To ensure safe navigation, you should stay on the left side of the river, while boats will be traveling on the right side. This activity is for experienced participants, as the descent will take at least 3 hours and there is a possibility of currents.
If a pickup is required, it is not included.
